Taylor Architecture & Design was established in 2001 and is located in downtown North Plainfield, New Jersey. Our primary focus is the design of mixed use residential buildings. Brian Taylor, Founder and President, has a strong background in the world of real estate development. He adds value to the firm's architectural services by leveraging his experience gained while leading the design team at a large private developer.

His insight and sensitivity to the needs of real estate developers sets him apart from the competition. Every member of the firm shares this culture which makes Taylor Architecture & Design a powerful asset in any real estate venture.

Brian Taylor is the Founder and President of Taylor Architecture & Design. He is in the unique position to serve the firm’s mixed use residential developer clients, identify their issues and solve their problems. To do this he draws on both his formal education and experience working for a developer, dealing first hand with the risks that developers face in their real estate businesses.

Brian understands what keeps his developer clients up at night: poorly performing buildings that affect bottom line cash flow, overruns on project schedule and budget, as well as the economic cycle and how it may affect the timing of current projects.

The list goes on and Brian Taylor not only understands these risks but has specifically developed his practice to navigate and mitigate these issues before they become problems.

ITALO TEIXEIRA, ASSOCIATE AIA

Italo Teixeira is a Senior Project Manager at Taylor Architecture & Design. His primary focus is carrying out the firm’s objective of helping our high-value clients accomplish their goals. He does this through his meticulous attention to detail, as well as with his ability to listen closely to clients and understand their needs. In addition to interacting closely with our clients, he is also in charge of the design studio.

Italo manages multiple projects and provides direction to staff members. Having developed key processes and procedures for the firm’s production process, Italo’s management style allows for a smooth and efficient project lifecycle. This, coupled with his ability to thoughtfully manage the firm’s resources, allows him and the firm to deliver outstanding service to our developer clients.

NATALIE ORTIZ

Administrative Assistant

Natalie is an Administrative Assistant at Taylor Architecture & Design. In addition to commanding the reception area at the office, Natalie also handles scheduling, following up with client requests and all other administrative tasks. Natalie is a mulittasker capable of pulling everything together and making everyone else’s day run a bit smoother.

Natalie has a fine arts education and is a skilled artist and designer with varied interests in the visual and graphic arts. Natalie spends her free time volunteering as the President of the Youth Division of the Association of Christian Churches where she works with the Board of Leaders to coordinate events and activities. She also helps to create opportunities for growth and leadership development within the Association.

PATRICK QUINN, ASSOCIATE AIA

Architectural Associate

Patrick Quinn is an Architectural Associate at Taylor Architecture & Design. Patrick is responsible for production of the firm’s high value mixed use residential projects. Patrick oversees the firm’s AutoCad, Revit and BIM software systems, ensuring that each project is integrated both architecturally and with our engineering and design consultants.

In addition to his production responsibilities, he also performs zoning analysis and critical construction code research for our complex mixed use residential projects. Applying his code knowledge and construction detailing expertise to the drawing production process ensures the detailed documentation required to eliminate risk and uncertainty for our developer client’s projects.

SOURAGNI GHOSH

Rendering, Animation and VFX

Souragni Ghosh handles the firm’s professional rendering, animation and visual effects at Taylor Architecture & Design. Souragni’s greatest skill is transformation of a schematic design into a photorealistic representation of our mixed use residential projects.

His knowledge of architectural design, detailing and lighting allow him to work as part of the design team as we progress from schematic design into design development with the help of three dimensional renderings not only as presentation material, but as a design tool. Souragni is fluent in many platforms such as 3D Max, Maya, Modo, Cinema4D, Blender, After effects, Sketchup Pro and Autocad, amongst others.

THOMAS NOVACK

Architectural Associate
Thomas Novak is an Architectural Associate at Taylor Architecture & Design. His main responsibilities area assisting the design team with drawing production. Thomas also contributes to the firm’s three dimensional computer modeling and graphic design presentations. He is detail oriented, an organized team player and strives to accomplish the company mission of serving our developer clients. Meticulous work habits and adherence to process and procedure ensure well thought out construction documents and presentations, all produced on time and on budget. 

Thomas was born in New Jersey and still resides in here. Previously he worked at a family run machine shop as a CNC operator. He was also an Eagle Scout. Thomas also enjoys learning about architecture, engineering and the sciences.
